Went awesomely.
I had to wake up at 6:00, then took my shower and when we got to the place we had to wait like a half an our in the waiting room, while me being thirsty and hungry. Then they put the name tag wrist thing on my wrist with my birthday, info, etc. I had to wait about... 10 minutes more in the waiting room before the took my into the pre-surgery room.
They gave me the hospital gown, which was actually quite comfortable, along with a robe and nice little socks. I had to take my bra off, though I got to keep my underwear, which as nice. xD Then they gave me those warm blankets that they heat up. I was sitting there maybe a half an hour, when they came back in to take my blood pressure and heart rate. They put the little heart rate clip on my finger, and then they took my blood pressure, which was apparently really good. 117 or something.
Then they left up for another half hour, at which point the doctor came in and marked my knee. He made a little circle and initialed it. He made a long line down my knee where the incision would be. I jumped when he did it so it was crooked, and he said: Yeah, it'll be there only not crooked. I was like: Whoops. xD
So then in a couple minutes they took my robe off me and then led me down to the surgery room. They gave me a hair net to put my hair in, and when I arrived at the room this guy Dave met me. He was the doctors assistant. And he was HOT. He goes: Wow, that's a lot of hair! I laughed, and felt a little better because by that point I was so freaked out I was about to throw up. XD I was really nervous.
The nurse Linda had me get on the table, and they put blankets over me and hooked me up to the heart monitor finger clip, and the heart rate monitor little pads. (Three of them) They also took my blood pressure again, and then put the IV in my hand. I think they put another pad on, but I'm not sure because I pretty much conked out by that point. I didn't even have time to count. (Sorry Kim! No new record! XD)
When I woke up I was still in the surgery room and they were just taking the heart monitors off, but then I conked out again. I woke up in the recovery room on the bed and they had managed to get the leg brace and the bandage on. (which goes from my toe knuckles to halfway up my thigh) They gave me graham crackers and I had two cups of hot chocolate. I asked to keep my bone fragment, but they were like: Nooo, sorry. Not allowed to. I was all: B'awwwww
I got to keep my gown and my socks. xD They had me take a wheelchair out, and I actually got to wheel it myself, which was kinda fun. I accidentally put pressure on my knee and it buckled. xD Didn't fall though. I couldn't even move my right leg because it was totally numb from the nerve block. I kept poking it but I couldn't feel anything. It's a WEIRD feeling. It's like... you feel like your touching someone else's flesh, but you're not. It's kinda like touching your own flesh for the first time. Like your in someone else's body touching yourself. xD
So I hopped using one leg up too small inclines into the car, which the nurse said was impressive because not many people can do that, and then I got lunch, went home, took a nap, and by that time the nerve block was starting to wear out, and my knee was hurting so I took the painkillers. It still hurts a lot. >w< That's the rant. It hurts like a BITCH, and it's really annoying not being able to bend my knee. But otherwise I'm fine. Actually really sleepy again 'cause of the pain meds. xD
I get to be waited on, which is actually a little annoying because I can't do ANYTHING by myself. Nada. Nothing. And I just have to sit here all day for three days. UGHGUGUHGUGH. It's gonna be so boring. I can't even really go outside.
Uhmuhmuhm. Yeah. The nurses are really nice at that place, though in the pre-surgery, there was this creepy man that gave me the willies. He was staring at me. I was like: STOP FREAKING ME OUT. I read for an hour in the waiting room with my music. lD
Hmmmmmmm there was something else...
oh yeah, going up stairs in crutches is hard because I can't put any pressure on my leg at all. So it's hard. But I'm all good. Sleeeeepy.
*sways*
Sleepy
Maybe a nap is needed
(on a side note, the pandemic going around is kinda freaking me out. xD)
uhm
something
else
I can't remember...
ohwell
XD

Love is a lie, made up by people to get what they want, to use you, and when they're tired of saying I love you they can't just stop. Love... love doesn't exist. It's a lie.

I gladly appreciate it.
